Here is a nice way to create an interesting look to an image. Here you can make your image appear as if it has transformed from a sketch to an image or vice versa.
1: Duplicate the layer and go to Filter > Artistic > Colored Pencil, add these settings;
Pencil width:15 Stroke Pressure:15 Paper Brightness:50

Here’s a quick way to age an image. Remember, you can adapt it, depending on your own way of working.
1. Open your image. and convert it to black and white. Image > Adjustments > Desaturate.
2. Create a vignette with feathering of about 30px. Select > Inverse.
3. Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast: set to about: brightness: -20 : contrast: -20
