Take a trip over to Absolute Cross and take a look at a wide selection of over 500 hundred free seamless textures…

Um, what’s a seamless texture?
A texture that is “seamless” is able to repeat infinitely without ever showing any edges. It can fill as large an area of your graphic as you like.

What can I use seamless textures for?
Seamless textures are useful for quite a number of things, such as website and desktop backgrounds, texture fills in Adobe Photoshop or other graphics or photo editing programs like Corel Draw, Illustrator, Fireworks, etc. Textures are also used in 3D modeling in programs like Cinema 4D, Bryce 3D, 3DS Max, or Lightwave 3D to help add realism to 3D environments and characters.

How to use a texture as a Pattern Fill in Photoshop:
To use a texture as a fill in Photoshop, open the .jpg texture file in Photoshop, and choose Edit->Define Pattern, and close the texture image. When you want to use the pattern, select Edit->Fill, choose Pattern from the dropdown, and in Custom Pattern select the texture you saved as a pattern. Press “OK” and the texture should now seamlessly fill the selected area of your image.
