Remembering Rhinos is a beautiful coffee table book featuring stunning images generously donated by many of the world’s best wildlife photographers in order to raise money to protect rhinos in Africa and Asia.
Founder Margot Raggett talks about her inspiration to create the book
“I travelled with our ambassador actor Dan Richardson to Ol Pejeta and there, an encounter with a rhino changed everything. Sudan, as he is known, is the last male northern white rhino left on earth. He is looked after under heavily armed guard along with his two female companions and it is likely they will never breed, so the species will die out with them. I was so upset at this thought when I met him, that a certainty that I had to of course do another book, this time on rhinos, became fixed in my mind. Two months later I launched a Kickstarter for that book and this time we hit £20,000 in less than three hours.”
All profits will go to rhino protection projects via charity partner The Born Free Foundation after a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign which pre-funded the production.
You can follow Margot Raggett & Dan Richardson on Facebook as they travel around Africa to take a look how the money will be spent. This is a fantastic cause to get behind and support especially as they show you what they are doing and where the money will go. Tremendous work!
